How to use this site

POTA News & Reviews is primarily a reference for POTA activators who want to read articles about sites that they are considering journeying to. It's also a news and gadgets review place, and some hunters might like to see the places that they are connecting with. Each of these wants a slightly different approach.

• Activators can quickly find information on parks by using the Search feature, top right of the page. You can search for specific reference numbers, like US-0001, for states (each review is tagged with its state), or just the name of the place. It's a free-text search, so even looking for a nearby city might work.
• Hunters will enjoy reading about the parks that they are connecting with, and that's also a good thing to use the Search feature for.
• Readers who enjoy reading articles about POTA can subscribe to our newsletter, which delivers new articles by email. You can also just browse the articles on the site.
• Reviewers who post articles on PN&R benefit from an audience that is highly interested in what you have to say.
• Everyone can benefit from news and equipment reviews, which as a subscriber you'll also get by email when they are posted.

The subscription is free, and if it becomes too many stories in your inbox, it's easy to turn off on the site.
