How to Contribute

POTA New & Reviews is a collection of site reviews written by hams who have actually been on site and done activations from the various locations. We provide gear reviews and articles of general interest to POTA activators, and hunters, too.

We encourage everyone who participates in POTA to post reviews on POTA News & Reviews. It doesn't have to be fancy or long, though that'd be fine! Include things that you think other activators might find useful, like where to park, where to pee, good spots to set up or to avoid park rangers, that sort of thing. It's perfectly fine to post a review about a park that someone else has reviewed, all of the articles about that park will show up in a search, and the more there are the better for activators, especially.

Photos really add a lot to your review, and the editor on the site makes it easy to add them. Tag your post with the state abbreviation and name – if you forget, no worries, we will add them. We're also happy to do a light edit of your post if you prefer, just let us know. Cross-posting is fine if you'd like to copy material you've published somewhere else here. (Blog authors: Adding your story here and including a link back to your blog will help in search rankings.)

To contribute, please send an email to perry@w1grd.radio with a quick intro and a word or two about what you would like to post and I'll get you set up. I will create an author account for you and let you know when it's ready for you to post your reviews. You can post one review or dozens, no pressure.
