POTA News and Reviews is an independent publication launched in October 2024 by Perry Donham W1GRD. It's a spot to read about POTA activations and gear in reviews written by hams who actually were there.

This is a free site, and signing up means that you receive our newsletter with new reviews, as well as access to the growing collection of site information.

If you have suggestions or complaints or just want to say hello, drop a note to perry@w1grd.com. Also send a note if you would like to be a review author on the site! Reviews can be long, short, have pictures or not, just be sure to include the reference number so that others can easily find your review. It's fine to review a site that's already been posted, or even post about the same site several times on different activations. The more articles we have on sites the better!
